Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actress Heather Tom, who plays Katie Logan on the hit CBS soap, was asked which castmate always makes her laugh. She responded with, “Donald [Diamont, Bill] makes me laugh, but I think the person who makes me laugh the most is either John McCook [Eric] or Thorsten [Kaye, Ridge]. Thorsten makes me laugh because he’s so grumpy all the time, and I just have to laugh at it. It’s just adorable.”
Ha! We kind of figured that the answer would be Thorsten Kaye. He just gives off that vibe, doesn’t he? Back in August, the actor opened up about his sex symbol status on the show. Or at least, that’s what many people had assumed about Ridge Forrester. In a new interview with Soap Opera Digest, the handsome actor said that he certainly doesn’t feel very comfortable with being considered a sex symbol. This must be the first time that anyone has even brought it up to him. He said rather bluntly, “I don’t even know what that means.”
If that weren’t enough, Thorsten said he doesn’t have an answer to what fans might find sexy about his character. He said, “I have no idea. They must have really small television sets.”
We don’t know what we would do without Thorsten Kaye in our lives or without Ridge Forrester on our small screens. Here’s hoping that Ridge stays on The Bold and the Beautiful for as long as possible, right? The show just wouldn’t be the same without his adorable grumpiness!
