The actor is back at meeting all of his daytime television fans and it just happened to be in Punta Cana. Back in January, Days of Our Lives star Eric Martsolf announced that he and Doug Davidson were headed to the Dominican Republic for the Rick Springfield Getaway. The all-inclusive getaway was held this past week.

Now, as far as whether or not Doug will be back on The Young and the Restless, it’s a very good chance that it’s not going to happen. It wasn’t too long ago that Doug said that he sees “no return” back to The Young and the Restless. What’s more, Doug said in an interview with Soap Hub that one of the reasons why he left was because he wasn’t given enough money in his contract. Back in late 2022, Doug wrote to his Twitter fans, “You guys are amazing. I don’t think there is a chance of a return, but your love and support is so incredibly beautiful to me.”

However, there was some speculation suggesting that Paul Williams was going to get killed off, much to the dismay of his fans everywhere. Now, whether or not that actually happens, remains to be seen.
