General Hospital Spoilers: Phone Calls, Proof, Pleasant Surprises

General Hospital spoilers and updates for the week of Monday, October 9-Friday, October 13 tease phone calls, proof, and pleasant surprises. In Puerto Rico, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) makes an important phone call, in Port Charles, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has proof and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) gets a pleasant surprise.

General Hospital Spoilers: Phone Calls

With Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) in the background mixing and mingling, Michael steps away at Nina and Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) wedding to make an important phone call. Prior to his and Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) last minute decision to attend the wedding, on Sonny’s private Puerto Rican island, he’d been in touch with a secret contact.

The contact has an inside track to the SEC and Michael’s been trying to get some inside information relevant to his mom and Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) situation.

Michael looks around to make sure no one hears what he’s saying to the person on the other end of the phone call. He says he needs the name of the person who pointed the SEC to his mom and Drew, with the intent of exposing that person.

GH Spoilers: Proof

Back in Port Charles at the offices of “The Invader” Carly is talking to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) who had an idea to help get Drew out of Pentonville.

The idea is to use the power of the press to put pressure on and to expose the judge in Drew’s case, Albert Kim (Kurt Yue). They believe that Judge Kim made an example of Drew, sentencing him to three years hard time in Pentonville instead of a shorter time in a whaite-collar prison.

Their theory is Kim did this in order to further his political career, and Alexis already has two files full of dirt on the judge. Alexis asks “there’s proof?” and Carly confirms in the affirmative and says she can get it for her!

General Hospital Spoilers: Pleasant Surprises

At the Quartermaine mansion, Brook Lynn answers the door to her mother, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) who hasn’t been in Port Charles for years!

To say it’s a pleasant surprise is likely the understatement of the century for Brook Lynn, her mother’s visit couldn’t have come at a better time. Brook Lynn went back to Bensonhurst and spent some time with her mom a couple of years back after being slashed in the throat by Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier).

Turns out Lois read about Brook Lynn’s being railroaded and losing her job thanks to Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) who she’s never liked or got along with. The feeling is mutual and when Tracy enters and tries to draw attention to herself, Lois will give her a well-deserved ignore and bye, see ya!
