General Hospital Spoilers: Lois is Back — and Olivia is Terrified

General Hospital spoilers reveal Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) lands back in Port Charles this week after a 26-year hiatus. Her return has sparked some serious rumors that Lois is going to blow through town and take Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth) with her on her way out.

But longtime GH fans trust that this one-time power couple might have Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) to contend with on that front. Has Olivia really accepted that Eddie is not her husband, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth)?

Will Eddie take one look at Lois and feel the same pangs in his heart he once did — feeling every bit as sure of his love for her as he was in the mid-nineties? Will Lois come with good intentions and find it hard to deny the way she feels for Eddie after all these years? With so many questions, we aim to answer a few.

General Hospital Spoilers — No Love Lost?

Ned and Lois have remained cordial over the years, even though we haven’t had the privilege of seeing that relationship in action. When Ned speaks of Lois, he does so fondly.

But Eddie has never breathed a word about her. When he lays eyes on her, it’s likely to be an entirely different experience for him. In fact, Lois might be the key that unlocks some of his memories. Unfortunately, Lois — and everyone else — is hoping she’ll unlock Ned’s memories. Instead, it appears she’s going to bring some of Eddie’s past to the surface for him.

GH Spoilers Hint Lois Wants to Help

Word on the street is Lois is coming to Port Charles with hope that she can help jog Eddie’s memory. Without any recollection of his past, she may theories that he’s not able to connect the dots of how he ended up where he is today.

At the very least, she might be hopeful that if he remembers her, he could come to remember Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), too. Furthermore, Lois already took this gamble years ago when she married Eddie — although she didn’t know it at the time.

When he came to his senses and once again became the corporate scion, Ned, the sparks she shared with Eddie seemed to fizzle. If Lois lets herself go down the same road again with Eddie, there is a chance she could lose him all over again if Ned resurfaces. But wait, isn’t that what she’s supposed to be in favor of — for her daughter’s sake? It sounds like this is going to get rather messy.

General Hospital Spoilers — Olivia Could Regret Opening This Door

Olivia isn’t normally the jealous type, and if she truly thought Eddie was here for good and Ned was gone forever, there’s no way she would let Eddie walk out of her life hand-in-hand with his ex-wife. But it’s becoming more difficult to hang onto faith that Ned is still lurking inside of him somewhere.

With Brook Lynn encouraging Olivia’s every inclination to embrace this man as Eddie, things are sure to get stirred up when she has to choose between supporting Olivia’s feelings for Eddie — and dealing with her mom’s rekindled romance with him as well. Stay tuned for more
