General Hospital news says that a lot of people can’t help but wonder what happened to actress Scarlett Fernandez. She is best known for her role as Charlotte Cassadine on the hit ABC soap. Up until last month, it’s been a very long time since she’s been on the canvas. And while she’s certainly happy to be back in Port Charles, many of her fans want to know what she’s been up to. General Hospital News: What’s Going On With Scarlett Fernandez?

As many General Hospital fans are aware of by now, Charlotte has been causing a whole lot of trouble during her short time back on the show. She’s trying to tear Valentin and Anna apart with a lot of people wondering who is controlling her behind the scenes. At the same time, Valentin has been keeping some major secrets about Charlotte from Anna, too. As a result, Scarlett Fernandez has been getting a lot of screen time, which General Hospital fans certainly aren’t complaining about at all.

Off screen, Scarlett has been keeping very busy. She took about a two year break from General Hospital to focus on her studies. Believe it or not, Scarlett is now in the 9th grade which makes her an official teenager! When she’s not studying or memorizing her lines for one of her upcoming General Hospital episodes, then she’s hanging out with her friends and her family. She also enjoys being on the weightlifting team and spends her free time in Disneyland. In other words, she is certainly a very typical teenager.

It goes without saying that we are glad to have Scarlett back on the canvas. Now, as far as how long she’s going to stay is anyone’s guess at this point, but here’s hoping that she will get a storyline of her own very soon. Fingers crossed!
