Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers indicate that fans should brace themselves for a major super couple breakup. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) have been teetering in recent weeks, and it looks like the final shoe will drop the week of October 9th.
Y&R spoilers for the week of October 9th Nick will make a major decision about his relationship with Sally. While he has fallen head over heels for the redhead, the kiss she shared with his brother Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) recently will continue to bother him.
It wasn’t just the lip lock that he had a problem with, rather Sally’s reaction to the kiss that was the issue. It’s clear that while she loves Nick, she still has feelings and a connection with his black sheep brother.
Nick wants Sally to only love him; however, when the two discuss things in the days ahead, Ms. Spectra may not be able to give him the answer he’s looking for, so he’ll likely drop the final hammer on their romance.
Y&R spoilers hint that Sally will do some soul-searching in the weeks ahead. Nally’s “break up” may simply just be a “break” for the couple to allow Sally the time to explore her feelings and figure things out, so she can truly decide which Newman brother she wants to be with.
While #TeamNick fans might be disappointed at this latest development, at least if and when Sally makes her choice, it could finally clear the air between all three, whether that ends up being Nick or Adam.
With Nick working so close with his ex-wife Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), a Shick reunion could be on the horizon, too, so he may not care if the redhead rekindles her relationship with his brother. Then again, Spectra may decide it’s time to separate herself from both Newman men and start a new chapter.
