General Hospital spoilers and updates for Monday, October 9 tease serious repercussions, anguished confessions and apprehensive meetings. Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) delivers serious repercussions, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) makes an anguished confession and Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) has an apprehensive meeting.
It looks like Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) have arrived at their wedding destination on his Puerto Rican island. Nina gets a happy surprise and says it’s the best wedding present she could ever ask for, as she’s all smiles standing beside Sonny.
Michael and Willow Corinthos (Chad Duell, Katelyn MacMullen) pondered their decision and made a last minute trip, Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) in tow.
Wiley will be the ringbearer and Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Brielle) the flower girl, and it’s possible Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) may be there too. For sure Sonny’s daughter Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) will be in attendance.
Elsewhere, it looks like power-dressed Lucy is getting ready to deliver some serious repercussions to someone as she says she really has something she needs to say.
Considering in a few days she and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will consider hiring a new Face of Deception, she could be talking to Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) or about her.
Unfortunately, optics are everything and Sasha’s grim situation she was just rescued from brought a lot of negative publicity, even though not her fault. Plus, Deception is facing a lawsuit for stealing the idea for The Deceptor from Blair Cramer (Kassie DePaiva) and the company’s barely hanging on by a thread.
Elsewhere, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) expresses burning regrets to Harrison Finn (Michael Easton) for not telling Chase about his ALS sooner.
Now he found out from Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) who had a slip of the tongue at the hospital, assuming he already knew. The elder Chase is repentant and regretful as he tells Finn that now, because of him, his youngest son is paying the price.
Chase accused Finn and their father, to Finn, for leaving him out of the loop on purpose, Finn saying he’d only known a couple of weeks himself. Gregory had kept his illness secret for several months.
Meanwhile, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) tries to comfort Chase, who looks like he’s cried all night with no sleep. He’ll open up to her and make an anguished confession, likely about wasted years or time with his dad, like Finn did when he found out.
Brook Lynn obviously is trying to get Chase to say or do something, but he says he can’t do it right now. Chase is in very bad shape emotionally, having collapsed in tears at the hospital after hearing the news.
Meanwhile, at the offices of The Invader, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has an update for Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) presumably about Judge Albert Kim (Kurt Yue).
They and Sonny came up with a plan to help get Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) out of Pentonville before someone kills him, which unfortunately is a strong possibility.
They’re using the power of the press via the Invader to put pressure on Kim-bad press never hurt anything if the story’s true!
Carly tells Alexis she just found out there’s proof, and she can get it for her. It sounds like the ball is rolling, now if it just stays on course!
Meanwhile, at Pentonville, Cyrus seems to be having an apprehensive meeting with someone, asking what is it they have in store for him?
It’s a possibility that the beatdown that happened to Drew in the showers-likely set up by Cyrus even though he’s playing innocent-has caused him to run afoul of the warden.
Cyrus suffers a setback in his plans through this meeting, as Warden Ellen Garten (Diahnna Nicole Baxter) had a telling conversation recently. She and acting Deputy Commissioner Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) had a talk in the halls of GH, and Jordan wanted intel on Drew’s beatdown.
