General Hospital Spoilers: Kelly Monaco Hints At Possible Jason Morgan Return

Knock, knock, is Steve Burton there? That’s what many General Hospital fans are asking as actress Kelly Monaco hinted that there might be a possibility that the character of Jason Morgan might return to Port Charles. And while actor Steve Burton was the last person in the role, one would only assume that he would come back and pick up where he last left off, right? Here’s what you need to know.

Kelly Monaco, who is best known for her role as Sam McCall on the hit ABC soap, recently weighed in on her character’s love life in a new interview with Soap Opera Digest that the couple that was once known as ‘Jasam’ might be what people call ‘endgame’ for her character. In other words, she thinks that Jason was, is, and will always be the love of Sam’s life. And there are very few people that wouldn’t agree with her.

Of course, bringing back Steve Burton might not be very easy. As many fans do recall, he didn’t leave General Hospital on the best of terms. Both he and Ingo Rademacher were given the boot after they failed to comply with the ABC network’s vaccine mandate. Steve has since found work on Days of Our Lives, but Ingo has been unemployed for nearly two years now.

General Hospital Spoilers: What’s Next For Jason And Sam?

It would be interesting to see Steve return to his General Hospital roots, but even critics think that you shouldn’t hold your breath that it will happen. But at the same time, General Hospital fans would love to see Sam and Jason reunited.  She might be very happy with Dante Falonceri right now, but everyone knows that the real love of her life was and will always be Jason. Now, if only he were still alive, right? So far Steve Burton himself has not made any comments about whether or not he would be willing to reprise his General Hospital role. Watch this space.
