They’ve waited a long time for this but if there’s anything that we’ve learned about life in Port Charles, it’s that nothing is ever as peaceful as it seems. General Hospital spoilers suggest Sonny and Nina’s upcoming wedding is going to be anything but peaceful. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
In a new interview with Soap Opera Digest, Cynthia Watros, who plays Nina on the hit ABC soap, says that her character definitely has some concerns over who might be the person who ratted out Drew and Carly to the SEC. She knows that if the truth were to come out, it’s going to destroy her character’s wedding day to Sonny.
Cynthia puts it this way, “Such worries exist as a low-grade anxiety that something might wreck this happiness that she found. I don’t think it’s at the top of her list of things to think about because she’s so wrapped up in the joy of marrying the man that she loves and having her daughter there. They have a relationship now and it’s the best it’s ever been. She gets to play with her grandchildren. She’s extremely happy – but it is sort of a low-grade whisper in her brain that all is not perfect, that something could happen.”
General Hospital spoilers say that for now, it’s nothing but good vibes for Sonny and Nina. Everyone arrives in Puerto Rico and Nina seems to be on cloud nine. But if there’s anything that we’ve learned about life in this fictional town of Port Charles, it’s that nothing stays blissful for too long.
Cynthia continued, “Sonny is giving her what she’s alward wanted, since she was a little girl; a family that loves each other and will be there for each other. She’s ecstatically happy and it seems like her family life is really, finally, on this amazing sort of journey,” but also adds, “Secrets have a way of coming out…”’
