Well, the Beckhams maintain that it never happened but it seems like the damage was already done between them and the Sussexes. David believes that their lives are already complicated enough and the last thing he needs to deal with is Harry and Meghan and all of their manufactured drama.

For Meghan Markle, she definitely feels as though she’s losing out by not being friends with Victoria Beckham. While Victoria already counts people like Eva Longoria and Salma Hayek as some of her biggest Hollywood supporters, Meghan was hoping to somehow be a part of that inner circle of celebrity friends. But that is certainly not going to happen on David’s watch. He’s not going to allow Meghan or even Prince Harry burn the Beckhams a second time around. He knows that their reputation is just as important as the Sussexes. He also doesn’t want Victoria to make any kind of gossipy headlines, as they are well past that point in their lives.
