The Young and the Restless spoilers say that we all knew this was certainly coming. Nick Newman and Sally Newman are going to break up as Nick realizes the best thing to do in this situation with her is to simply set her free. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Sally might have told Nick that she loved him, but he is certainly questioning her motivation behind such a strong declaration like that. However, Sally admits to Nick that her emotions were all over the place because of Adam Newman. After all, they did go through a lot with each other.
Courtney Hope, who plays Sally Spectra on the hit CBS soap, puts it this way in a new interview, “Nick points out that Adam wouldn’t have this effect on her if she wasn’t still in love with him. She really likes what her future could look like with Nick but her heart is going, ‘But you care for this other man.’ Sally is just so torn because people, including Chloe, keep saying that Adam is manipulating her and just trying to get into her head.”
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Sally admitted that she and Adam bonded over the loss of their child, but that doesn’t mean she’s in love with him. However, Courtney says, “Nick tells Sally that this isn’t about him because he knows where he stands when it comes to his feelings for her. Nick doesn’t want to go through all of this indecisiveness again and decides they need to take a break so she can figure out what she wants. Now we will see if Sally goes back into fight or flight mode.”
