The Young and the Restless Spoilers Friday, October 6: Phyllis Put in Check, Jack & Diane’s Celebration Threatened?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, October 6 show that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is lucky that anyone in Genoa City, Wisconsin still talks to her after she faked her own death, went to her “funeral” in disguise, and, despite seeing her loved ones devastated, let them continue to think she was dead.

Some people are still salty over her mean scheme, but others, like her bestie Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman), love the stuffing out of Red—it’s an acquired taste for sure.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Lauren Loves Phyllis

On Friday Lauren has a caution for Phyllis because she knows that her vow to change her ways are hollow, and yet Lauren still wants to spend her time and energy on her. It’s her life. Knowing Phyllis as she does, Lauren smells trouble ahead.

Lauren may get an inkling that Phyllis is in cahoots with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and nothing good can come from that. How will Phyllis respond to being told yet again by a loved one that she needs to do better? That question pretty much answers itself.

Y&R spoilers: Phyllis is Hopeless

Then again, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) told Phyllis that she should stop helping Tucker to destroy the Abbotts by partnering with him to destroy Tucker, which isn’t a much better choice.

The best choice Phyllis could choose would be to take her son Daniel Romalotti’s (Michael Graziadei) offer to help him with his gaming platform which is legit and would be an honest day’s work. Maybe she’ll surprise everybody and do the right thing.

Elsewhere Jack and Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) are busy prepping for their marriage vow renewal party. This grand celebration will carry over into the week of October 9-13 with all of the shenanigans, conflicts, surprises, and secrets one expects with these types of soapy events.

Jack and Diane are madly in love and want to share their joy with friends and family who are not nearly as excited about their union as they are; what could go wrong?

One thing that is a bright spot is Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd) being back in town. The former Abbott housekeeper is determined to help her fractured family heal, and she may just have enough magic left over to help the Abbotts get things back on track, too!
