The Young and the Restless spoilers say that soon enough, Chelsea Newman is going to be back on the canvas. As many Y&R fans already know, actress Melissa Claire Egan was on leave but she’s preparing to come back as fans will get to see what’s in store for her character. And from what we can tell already, she is feeling quite upset that Adam Newman’s priorities seem to be anywhere but at home. Here’s what you need to know.

Chelsea Newman is back and it’s pretty clear from the start that she’s unhappy with the way things have been going in Genoa City. While she’s made it pretty clear that she has no romantic interest in Adam Newman anymore, they still share their son Connor together. Chelsea wants to make sure that Connor’s mental health is taken care of, and especially after everything he’s been through in the past.

The Young and the Restless spoilers speculate that Chelsea is going to confront Adam and tell him that he’s not doing enough for their son, Connor. That’s because he’s been way too distracted with all of the Sally Spectra drama. While that is certainly none of Chelsea’s business, she wants Adam to know that first and foremost he needs to be a father before anything else. Connor should always come first in his life but unfortunately, that just hasn’t been happening.

With Adam being Adam, of course he is not going to appreciate Chelsea telling him that he’s a bad father. But Cheslea also tells him that there’s always way too much drama in the Newman family and she doesn’t want Connor to be a part of it. Is she trying to keep her son away from Adam altogether?
