As many fans are probably aware of by now, the character has been recast after Jen Lilley announced that she would not be returning to the hit Peacock soap. Here’s what you need to know.

Theresa’s got blonde hair and well, DOOL viewers like what they see – for now, at least. It goes without saying that many Days of Our Lives fans have had a lot to say about Theresa and her brand new look. Some have even commented with, ‘Omg the wig. I like EOB so much but I struggle with her airing as both Gwen and Theresa at the same time – that will be jarring and was the wrong call. I’m so curious to see if she rolls in with an accent all of a sudden or if she uses an American accent. LOL! This is going to be such a mess,” along with, “I’m so here for this! I love Jen Lilly but since she’s not free to to the role…I’m here for EOB playing Teresa.  Also, is that a wig she’s wearing?”

Another DOOL fan wrote, “I’m probably the minority here, but I’m actually looking forward to this, to see how she does in the role. Watch her be a huge success as Theresa.”

And then there was this comment as well: “They got the look right. Idk if Theresa still wears leopard print imo lol but they nailed the MU & wig down to the roots! NGL Emily looks hot. She’s a talented actress so it won’t surprise me if she does a good American accent too. As messy as the sitch was I am still excited to see.”
