The only friend that she has left in Genoa City, Lauren, has even warned her that she needs to not get out of line. However, Jack Abbott has given Phyllis an offer that she can’t refuse. He told her that the only way she will be able to redeem herself in his eyes is if he can jack into Tucker’s system. 

Of course, Phyllis knows that she’ll get into some major trouble if she does it. Is it worth the risk? But at the same time, she really wants to redeem herself in the eyes of Jack Abbott. Phyllis feels as though she’s in a lose-lose situation because no matter what she does, she’ll still end up looking like a criminal. She’s very close to ruining her life again.
