The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, October 3 indicate that today the Newman and Abbott families take center stage in dramas of their making.

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) wants his family to come together at Jabot and tries to get his son Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) back into the fold.

Kyle went rogue by taking a job under Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) at Newman Media but that worked about as well as one would expect.

Now that Audra has fired Kyle from her life, Jack is willing to do whatever it takes to bring Kyle back. But there’s a sticking point,

Kyle wants to be co-CEO seat again, a position now held by Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

Jack offers an alternative position and it’s up to Kyle to be the bigger man. Can he manage that? Perhaps Jack can persuade him that all hands need to be on board in order to fight back against Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).

Y&R spoilers: Nate and Victoria Hash Things Out

Also on Tuesday, October 3 schemers Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) do their best to not be collateral damage at Newman Enterprises. Victoria claims she wants to get in line with Victor’s direction, but she’s still salty about being demoted.

She’s also telling everyone that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is somehow not all there, so they should get behind her and not him. As if.

She will also trot out her tried and true tactic of throwing her brother Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) under the bus in a bid to cement her own status.

In the middle is Nate, who must “supervise” Adam and report back to Victor. Basically snitch on him. This would seem to be the perfect scenario for Nate and Victoria to hatch their domination plan behind the scenes, by playing everyone off one another.

However, Nate is growing leery of Victoria’s loyalty and he may decide to align himself with Victor rather than his daughter.

Meanwhile Victor soothes his wife Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), declaring that all is going to plan and this is the best chance for the family to finally come together. What can go wrong?
