The Young and the Restless star Amelie Heinle shared a heartbreaking tribute to her late co-star Billy Miller. As many fans know, Billy took his own life on September 15th. Amelia and Billy both played Victoria Newman and Billy Abbott on the hit CBS soap until he left the show. Here’s what she has to say.
Sharing a throwback photo of Billy as a child on her Instagram account, Amelia wrote, “My favorite thing growing up was hiding out from the rain in our little barn with a tin roof on it, it’s still my favorite sound. Listening to it coming down and the way it gave me peace. – by Billy Miller 2010. @billyjohnmiller #cbsdaytime #yandr.”
It goes without saying that many of her social media fans did share their thoughts and condolences on her Instagram page, too. Some commented with, “My sincere sympathies, Amelia truly. I remember your very first scene together with Billy Miller. It was the Scrooge Christmas Carol dream visit episode. It is where you and Billy Abbott first got together,” along with, “We loved him from watching scenes with you and others. Our hearts are broken, I can’t imagine your loss knowing him. My deepest condolences. His infectious laugh and beautiful smile. May he rest in eternal peace.”
Another fan wrote, “Like they say we have our one true love, im sure for actors, you may have that one partner that is THE ONE! What we got to witness was Ameila and Billy bringing iut the very best in each other on screen. I truly believe as actors, you were each other’s destiny. You both shined and we forgot we were watching acting, you were both real, magical, electrifying, beautiful, tragic and loving. In 50 years, when anyone talks about Y&R, Billy and Ameila will be mentioned at the top of that list. I’m sure he’s loving your post.”
