The Young and the Restless Spoilers: GCPD Police Chief Chance Chancellor’s New Romance, Summer, Sharon or Christine?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that today Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) announced to Summer Abbott (Allison Lanier) that he was floating on top of the crime world and had good news to share: he’s the new Genoa City, Wisconsin Chief of Police.

Summer was only too happy to congratulate him and help him celebrate, and she didn’t hold back her enthusiasm and praise.

It was another tentative step into his orbit, which she seems to be finding warm and toasty following the deadly chill of her marriage to adulterer Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).

With his new promotion, isn’t it about time he also move on from his failed marriage to the Naked Heiress Adulterer Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway)?

In fact, it would appear the ladies are lining up to keep Chance company. So let’s dissect his choices!

Y&R spoilers: Chance’s Best Bet

The new chief of police began flirting with Sharon after his marriage imploded. They have sealed the deal in the back room of the coffee house, with no one being the wiser.

Since then business matters have restricted her freedom, and apparently at the same time he was in contention for his new position which must have taken up a good chunk of this time.

Sharon is now trying to save the world via Kirsten Incorporated, the company left to her by dead mad man Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby). As such she has not been as attentive as she might have been a couple of months ago.

In fact, Sharon has now caught Summer and Chance semi-flirting on two occasions, and after the last time she spilled her suspicion to her daughter Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes).

But there’s another lady who should be in this potential mix, and that is the last police chief’s ex-wife, Christine Blair.

She was married to Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) who is now retired and living in Portugal. They made a great team as the District Attorney and the chief of police, very sympatico.

Who’s to say that working alongside Christine won’t blossom into something more than just justice system fraternization?
