The Young and the Restless star’s death was categorized as “accidental” because he was reportedly on an alcohol binge at the time of his death. Friends and family members say that he has been in a “dark place” ever since his son Julian St. John committed suicide back in 2014.

Kristoff said that his son didn’t have to die and that the hospital he was at could have saved him. He says that Julian was negligent when it came to supervising his son. The actor said at the time that if the staff had “acted with even the slighted regard for Julian’s safety, he would still be alive today.”

As many  fans know, Kristoff first debuted as his character Neil Winters back in 1991. Neil was always described as an ‘over-achiever’ who gave a lot of people in Genoa City a good run for their money over the years. During the time of his death, The Young and the Restless executive producer Anthony Morina told Entertainment Weekly that the entire cast and crew “all miss Kristoff immensely and are understandably still in a bit of shock. Our hope is that this storyline and tribute episode will honor the legendary character Kristoff helped create, and provide our audience with the opportunity to say goodbye to Neil.”

The Young and the Restless News: Kristoff Was A Beloved Actor

The actor was nominated nine times for Daytime Emmy Awards, and he won 10 NAACP Image Awards.

The Young and the Restless star’s death was categorized as “accidental” because he was reportedly on an alcohol binge at the time of his death. Friends and family members say that he has been in a “dark place” ever since his son Julian St. John committed suicide back in 2014.

According to the Daily Mail, Paris – who was very close to her father – petitioned a Los Angeles court to become her father’s estate administrator back in 2019. The young woman hasn’t made any comments about her father’s death, although it’s safe to say that she wants to be the sole executor of her father’s estate. At the time of his death, Kristoff was divorced, although he was reportedly engaged to his model girlfriend, Kseniya Mikhaleva. It is estimated that Kristoff St. John was worth about $4 million dollars, which includes his San Fernando Valley home and his income generated from The Young and the Restless.

But Kristoff’s drama did not end after his arrest. His daughter Paris St. John was  arrested for indecent exposure while at a supermarket in Idaho back in 2022. Unfortunately, she tried to resist her arrest and worse, even tried to make a beeline out of there until she was pinned to the ground by the cops. Before her arrest, Paris was not only naked, but she was also praying and meditating until she made her way to the front office of the supermarket that she was in. She wouldn’t put her clothes back on until the cops got there. TMZ also says that Paris is currently getting treatment for her mental health issues.
