Susan didn’t seem too pleased that Edmund gave Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) poisoned tea-but she herself seems like a victim of Stockholm syndrome-who’ll save them?

When Ava and Harris tracked down Edmund, after Susan apparently reached out to Ava with a hint of “the big smoke” and bread crumbs spelling E, he never gave a clue.

He claimed he’d not seen Susan in years, and asked a lot of questions about the crazy woman who drove Susan off a cliff and killed her.

Harris offered “the crazy woman” had a lot of therapy and remembered Susan walking away and she’d reached out to her supernaturally, which Edmund remembered nothing about Susan being psychic.

But he apparently figured out that Ava was the crazy woman and Harris was the killer who broke her out of Bayview, he told them Susan was there.

She was chained to the floor in the back room-and he’d given them poisoned tea, and put them in the back room-Susan came out in curlers and brushing her teeth!

Susan didn’t like Edmund poisoning Ava and Harris, she said “Edmund, Edmund, Edmund, what have you done?” Susan in her right mind would never have stayed with her ex if she knew about her grown son EJ DiMera (Dan Feurreriegel) back in Salem!

Yet Susan did appear to be reaching out to Ava and Harris to find her and rescue her-is Susan a victim of Stockholm Syndrome, falling for her captor?

Or does she not remember having a baby, Elvis John DiMera when she married Edmund so long ago? But if Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) leave and go home to Salem figuring Ava and Harris gave them the slip, who’ll rescue them?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Edmund Crumb Killed One Of Susan Banks’ Sisters

Why would Susan, in her right mind, go back that many years to reunite with a husband who killed one of her sisters?

Supposedly, Edmund had confused Penelope Banks (Eileen Davidson) with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and killed her with a blow to the back of her head to protect Susan and baby Elvis. Later, Susan was sold to a harem and Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) kidnapped baby EJ.

What if that’s not really what happened and Edmund killed Penelope in cold blood-and now, obsessed with the wife he lost is keeping her captive and poisoned her rescuers? Who will come back to save Ava, Harris and Susan?
