Royal Divorce: Kate Middleton Using Prince George To Avoid Prince William

Is there something going on here that royal fans need to know about? There’s a new report that says Kate Middleton will not be joining her husband, Prince William, on his trip to Singapore for the 2023 EarthShot Awards. The fact that she is not going has certainly raised a lot of eyebrows. Not only that, but the move also suggests that something might be going on behind closed doors in William and Kate’s marriage. Here’s what you need to know.

On Friday morning, member of the Royal Rota, Victoria Murphy, released a statement on Twitter that said, “Kensington Palace has confirmed that the Princess of Wales will not join her husband at this year’s @EarthshotPrize awards in Singapore. It is understood that Prince George has exams that week and she wants to be there to support him.”

It goes without saying that there were plenty of royal fans and critics alike that were scratching their heads over this. Many of them responded to the matter with, “When did 10 year olds do exams? Can all other mothers take time off work to support their children taking exams. Or it only applies to Royalty,” along with, “I mean he already has a career lined up so what will exams at 10 determine? Earthshot is her husband’s initiative, not hers.  We have seen her at events and visits related to her own initiative many times – including this week.  A fact which I suspect you are well aware of.”

Royal Divorce: What’s Next For The Prince And Princess Of Wales?

Another critic wrote, “I love Catherine BUT my gawd Prince George is surrounded by hands on extended family and a long term full time nanny.  He’s 10.  They aren’t state exams. Ahhh and now you can announce their separation. It is so crystal clear.”

So far Kensington Palace has not made any additional comments about the matter. That said though, William and Kate have been spending more time apart than together lately. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more royal drama to come.
