General Hospital news says that by now, everyone is aware that beloved actor Billy Miller passed away back on September 15th. He was best known for his role as Drew Cain on General Hospital and also as Billy Abbott on The Young and the Restless. His co-stars, his fans, and his daytime television family were left absolutely devastated by his death. Many of them remembered him as a fun-loving, talented young man who always loved to smile and put smiles on other people’s faces. However, there were some things about Billy Miller before his death that fans had completely ignored. Here’s what you need to know.

Billy had a lot of major credits under his name that included the Hollywood film American Sniper along with the television shows CSI, Ray Donovan, Suits, Truth Be Told, The Rookie, and NCIS. He wasn’t just a daytime television star. However, after he left General Hospital in 2019, his career just wasn’t the same. Even though he had landed a few episodes on Suits, he only did one episode of The Rookie in 2021 and one on NCIS the following year. Fans didn’t seem to realize that he was at the height of his career between 2014 and 2019. 

General Hospital News: Billy Kept His Personal Life Very Private

What’s more, it seemed like Billy preferred to live a very private and quiet life. Even though there are a lot of daytime television stars out there who love to share personal tidbits about their lives on social media, Billy isn’t one of them. In fact, many fans didn’t even know that he had his own Instagram account. Even though Billy wasn’t on Twitter, he did share a few behind-the-scenes photos of his life on Instagram, although he didn’t post very often. They were just usually photos from the set of General Hospital or a few of the fan events that he did with rumored girlfriend Kelly Monaco.

If there’s something else that fans also didn’t notice, it was that Billy was virtually absent from not only social media the last few years, but from the daytime television and entertainment worlds, too. There are no photos of him available from 2019 to the time of his death. Once again, we send out our condolences to all of Billy’s family during this very difficult time in their lives.
