General Hospital comings and goings suggest that the producers of the show must be paying attention to what all of the fans and critics out there are saying. That’s because there’s a new report that suggests actress Brooke Ann Smith has been replaced by incoming star Kristen Vaganos. For weeks now many General Hospital fans have been complaining that Brooke Anne simply just didn’t look like the Molly Lansing-Davis that viewers have grown to love over the years. The producers of the show must have realized that Brooke Anne was a bad fit for the role and that’s why they’ve finally decided to replace her. Here’s what you need to know.

According to Soap Opera Digest, Kristen Vagaons made her debut during the September 27th episode of the show. Back in July, it was Brooke Anne who had taken over the role from HOliday Mia Kriegal, who was also brought in to play Molly after her original portrayer, Haley Pullos, got into a car crash in April. 

It goes without saying that many fans have had a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some have even commented with, “I am hoping she works out and everyone likes her but if it doesn’t work out I say  they should just kill the molly character and move on to find someone else,” along with, “Seriously another new one. At least she fits the age that Molly is supposed to be. I’ve never seen so much hate and complaining as I do from the so-called fans of GH.”

General Hospital Comings And Goings: What’s Next For Molly In Port Charles?

Another critic wrote, “Is Molly the most recast role in so short a time? 3 actresses in a matter of months. I stopped watching a month or so ago but I thought they had a permanent Molly already.”

So far the producers of General Hospital have not made any comments about the new casting. Watch this space.
