General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of September 25, 2023 tease that a wonderful and talented singer is back in Port Charles, New York. That would be one name wonder, Blaze. Let’s unpack what we know about this stunning return!

Jacqueline Grace Lopez is back onscreen as the terrific singer Blaze. She was Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) singing partner during an amateur sting operation conducted by Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).

The trio were out to bust sleazy music producer Linc, played by Dan Buren. They succeeded and when they were done Chase was able to return to his day job, busting perps for the PCPD, and Blaze left town.

Well, Blaze is back at the behest of BLQ who wants to manage her career into the stratosphere. Is it any coincidence that BLQ’s music manager mom Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) is also returning to Port Chuck?

Blaze appeared in a, well, a blaze of glory when she dropped by Kristina Corinthos’ (Kate Mansi) bar to wait for BLQ. The two ladies got to talking and we’d be blind if we didn’t notice the mad chemistry between Blaze and Kristina!

There are few further details about Blaze’s storyline but she told Soap Opera Digest that she was told that GH’s executive producer Frank Valentini wanted to bring the character back for an exciting new storyline.

It’s a safe bet that Blaze will be singing, but what about her personal life? She and Kristina hit it off immediately. When Kristina realized who Blaze was, she fangirled all over the singer who was chill about the whole thing.

Instead of copping an attitude, Blaze ended up complimenting Kristina’s singing at the Nurses Ball.

Kristina has a lot going on right now, including managing the bar and launching a safe space for LGBTQ+ youth. Will she also find love with Blaze? Maybe. But at the very least these two fast friends may develop a solid friendship and that’s something everyone needs in their lives.
