The Young and the Restless Spoilers Monday, September 25: Adam Forced to be Nate’s Underling, Billy Catches Red Red-handed

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, September 25, 2023, reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is still intent on running his company how he sees fit and as such he calls Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) in to his office to give them the lay of the land.

It could be an update on Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) status at Newman Enterprises. On Thursday’s show she and Victor had a battle of egos, starting with her observance that her portrait was taken down and Victor’s returned to its rightful place. She even had a flashback about the day her visage was hoisted onto the CEO wall. That just madew her madder.

Explosive show spoilers tease that Victor has news for Nate and Adam, two alpha males that will now be working together. The men learn that Adam will be Nate’s assistant.

Previously Adam begged Victor to believe him when he claimed to want to start at the bottom and work his way up the ladder–No favoritism!

Adam reiterates that he wants to prove himself and therefore will do whatever Nate wants him to do, thrilling his new boss to no end.

But Victor never does anything without an ulterior motive! It turns out that Victor wants Adam to spy on the disloyal former surgeon. Is Victor’s end game firing shady Nate and installing Adam as the new COO? Victor has been on a tear lately, and as he showed Victoria, no one is indispensable at NE!

Elsewhere Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) demands to know from Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) what she and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) are up to.

Unbeknownst to her, Billy saw Phyllis enter Tucker’s GCAC room to hack into Billy’s financial records. When confronted about why she went into Tucker’s room, Phyllis sputters like an old Ford. Phyllis’ cover story is lame and Billy is suspicious.

In the end Billy is willing to give her the benefit of the doubt, but if he finds out otherwise, then it’s wham-pow-bang time! Afterward a panicked Red tells Tucker that what she did can never be found out—what can go wrong?
