Well, color us surprised on this one. There’s a new report that suggests more and more people see Prince William as a royal sex symbol, despite the fact that he is married and dealing with a supposed marital crisis with his wife, Kate Middleton. The Prince of Wales just took a solo trip to New York City with a lot of people even wondering out loud why Kate didn’t join him. Here’s what you need to know.
According to the Daily Mail, their reporters believe that Prince William’s status as a sex symbol once again is complete. That’s because there were supposedly so many women who were swooning at the sight of him. At least, that’s what the royal rota believes. The Daily Mail said, “ It appears Prince William is having somewhat of a renaissance and is once again catching the eyes of a legion of female fans.”
So, is Prince William really a sex symbol? It seems strange to even put it that way seeing how he and Kate Middleton have been married for so long. Plus, calling him a sex symbol when there are so many reports about his supposed marital crisis is raising some eyebrows, too.
Some royal critics have commented on the matter with, “So much of this stuff is mortifying. He’s being lauded as the sex symbol nobody wants and Kate is being publicly pushed out. She should be going to Singapore even if they hate each other because they are supposed to be selling their marriage and the monarchy supporting something that is serious.”
Another critic wrote, “the story about Kate being evil for using a helicopter, and this laughable nonsense, they are absolutely laying the groundwork for a divorce announcement and trying to make William look like a catch who’s too good for frumpy, boring and spoiled.”
Now, whether or not Prince William really is a sex symbol again is anyone’ guess. So far both Prince William and Kate Middleton haven’t made any comments about the matter. Watch this space.
