Are they having problems in their marriage or are they just having problems sleeping? Whatever the case may be, a lot of fans can’t help but wonder why Prince William and Kate Middleton reportedly sleep in separate bedrooms. Well, it seems like there’s a good reason for it. According to Express, the Prince and Princess of Wales sleep in separate quarters in their home. And that’s not because they can’t stand the sight of each other or that maybe someone snores too loudly, but mostly that’s because how aristocrats have always done things in the UK. At least, that’s what royal expert and Prince Phillip’s cousin Lady Pamela Hicks says.
Speaking to Express in a new interview, Pamela puts it this way, “In England, the upper class always have had separate bedrooms. You don’t want to be bothered with snoring or someone flinging a leg around. Then, when you are feeling cozy you share your room sometimes. It is lovely to be able to choose.”
If that weren’t enough, Head of the Sleep Council in the UK Lisa Artis says that sleeping apart doesn’t mean that you are having trouble in your marriage. Instead, it might mean that your sleep habits simply don’t synchronize, which is often the case for a lot of couples.
She put it this way, “Tired people are less tolerant and patient than those who are fully rested, the result can easily be rows and arguments. Disputes that undermine relationships can drive couples apart.”
Lisa added, “Chronic sleep debt can have a seriously damaging effect on our mental and physical health. A good night’s sleep is vital as a restorative time and plays a significant role in healing and repairing the heart and blood vessels, recharging the brain but also giving us the ability to manage and cope. Good sleep also strengthens the immune system and the cardiovascular system.”

Not a royal family fan requiring updates on their lives - but there are many reasons why married people sleep in separate rooms and it has nothing to do with their relationship being on the outs. Not going to indicate the possibilities here. Loving one another and support of each individual is what is important. Where one sleeps has nothing to do with how stable the marriage is. There is no reason any one needs to know their sleeping arrangements. To those who need to know, I say get a life and stop inquiring about other peoples affairs.
