Days of Our Lives spoilers and rumors tease something will need to be done with the Salem Spectator when Gwen Rizczech Von Leuschner (Emily O’ Brien) leaves Salem.

It’s doubtful she’d trust it to lying Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) who’d really turn it into a rag-might she return it to Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford)?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Xander Cook May Not Want The Paper

Spoilers tease Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) won’t want the paper, because he’ll find out Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) new baby is his, and he’ll be busy trying to win her back.

Gwen is leaving and something will need to be done with the Salem Spectator-it seems obvious that returning it to Jack and Jennifer Deveraux (most recently Cady McClain) is best.

Jennifer may still be with her brother in New York, while Jack is running their new paper, but it never hurts to own two papers-he’d just have to hire local reporters.

An out of town paper can be run remotely, but at least two people come to mind who could be reporters-and they’re family. Jack could check with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein).

DOOL Spoilers: It’s A Family Legacy, Has To Stay In The Family

The Salem Spectator is a family legacy, it has to stay in the family-Chad is still considered family by the Deverauxs even though Abigail Deveraux (Marci Miller) is gone.

Stephanie is her cousin, and then there are Adrienne Kiriakis’ (Judi Evans) kids. Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) and his husband Will Horton (Chandler Massey) could also run it but again, they’re far away in Arizona, almost as far away as Jack.

It’s a shame, since Will was an ace reporter at the paper for so many years, as was the late Abigail. But perhaps the one redemption Gwen would have with her dad-saying she does leave alive-would be returning the paper, which she got through treachery.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Where There’s A Will There’s A Way

Where there’s a will, there’s a way and Gwen has always found a way-Xander may stay with the paper until Jack can find someone else to run it. Jack was once very friendly and supportive of Xander, especially when he and Gwen were involved a few years ago. In fact, until Xander and Gwen crossed Jack, Jack was Xander’s only friend.

Will Jack and eventually Jennifer come back to Salem to run the paper? Maybe not, but they do have another son who could turn up-JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) might want a new career!
