We knew she’d come back sooner rather than later! General Hospital comings and goings say that actress Rena Sofer is returning to reprise her role as Louis Cerullo. Needless to say, General Hospital fans are absolutely excited to be seeing her on the canvas again. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
The last time that fans saw Rena Sofer on The Bold and the Beautiful as Quinn Forrester, she left town after confessing to Carter Walton during his wedding to Paris Buckingham that she still loved him. Unfortunately, she loved him so much that she had to take the first flight out of LAX because she couldn’t deal with it.
Well, now Rena is returning to Port Charles as Louis Cerullo, a character that she played from 1994 to 1996 and again in 1997. The actress told Soap Opera Digest in an exclusive interview, “I am so excited to step back into Lois’s fingernails again!”
Amanda Setton, who also plays Brook Lynn on the hit ABC soap, can’t wait to have her on-screen mother back in the fold. She added, “I am so excited to be working with her. I think that bringing her back into the fold and onto the landscape will create fertile ground for some fun storytelling. From what I understand and from what I’ve seen, Lois is a force to be reckoned with and a really fun character. I think giving more context to Brook Lynn by seeing her with her mother will be really fun to play and I can’t wait to explore that with Rena. It’s a whole new dynamic and it’s just a great dynamic to introduce into the show.”
