General Hospital spoilers say that fans are going to be seeing a familiar face on the canvas again. That’s because Maurice Benard’s son Joshua Benard will be making a few appearances in several upcoming episodes of the hit ABC soap. Seeing how he keeps returning to the soap, a lot of fans can’t help but wonder if Maurice might be pulling some strings behind the scenes to help his son land a full-time role on General Hospital. Here’s what you need to know.
According to Soaps in Depth, Joshua Benard is coming back to play Adam. He was first introduced on the show back in 2022 as Josslyn’s study date at Charlie’s Pub. Unfortunately, he didn’t make a very good impression on Josh as he said a few pretty rude things. Things got so bad that Josslyn even wanted to punch him in the face and ordered him to leave. Of course, he had to make a comment about Joss’ sex tape and needless to say, it was in bad taste. Joss looked at him like he was hiding something. Clearly, he knows more than what he’s willing to share.
Well, Adam did apologize for what he said. Back in November, he returned and he overheard Joss talking to Trina. They were talking about bedbugs. After one thing led to another, Joss told Adam that Trina was off limits and that she was seeing someone. Still, he seemed mighty interested in her.
So, what is Adam doing in Port Charles now? There’s a very good chance that he’s got a secret and that it will be revealed very soon. Also, it seems like Adam might be joining the cast in a full-time capacity seeing how he keeps returning to Port Charles. There’s a very good chance that his dad Maurice might be helping him with that, although he’s yet to make any comments about the matter. Watch this space.
