The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, September 12 tease that newlyweds Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) aren’t done celebrating their union and want all of Genoa City, Wisconsin to know how blissed out they are. They continue planning their autumn reception despite not very many people being pleased with this marriage.

Jack knows what people think, and say, but he couldn’t care less. To him, Diane is a goddess of the first order despite that pesky faked death thing years ago. What woman wouldn’t want to be publicly celebrated, therefore Diane is eager to help Jack pick the date for their big party.

Meanwhile, Jack’s sister and her new hubby, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John), aren’t having a similar honeymoon phase. To wit, her daughter Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) is worried that her mother isn’t returning her phone calls.

What we know is this: Abby confronts Tucker in his GCAC hotel and wants to know why he’s back in town without her mom. Explosive show spoilers tease that Tucker goes berserk on Abby when she needles him for more information.

Meanwhile in the least surprising move of the year, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is back to meddling in her kids’ lives. Despite her vow not to.

Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) made her swear to step away from her scheming but this is Phyllis we’re talking about. Spoilers indicate that Phyllis stirs the pot by interfering in Summer’s romantic life.
