The Young and the Restless spoilers say that when it comes to Nate Hastings and Audra Charles, everyone wants to know what their real motive is. Because you don’t try to join the ranks of Newman Enterprises knowing all too well that the powerful Newman family will end up eating you for dinner and worse, spitting you out. Yet, they are both trying to claw their way to the top. This has prompted a lot of people to wonder: what is Nate and Audra’s secret? Or better yet, what’s their endgame? Here’s what you need to know.
As many The Young and the Restless fans are well aware of, Nate has enjoyed quite the romance with Victoria Newman so much so that he’s actually been promoted thanks to her. Victoria actually did her brother Nick Newman dirty by getting rid of him just so she could give Nate his position.
Similarly, Audra Charles has also been climbing the ranks by getting close to whoever she needs to get close to in order to move up the Newman ladder. So far it’s worked as she’s been sleeping around with Kyle Abbott and proving to Victor Newman that she has what it takes to run a company like Newman Media. Interestingly enough, Victor has not had a bad word to say about Audra, but that might all change when he finds out that she is the reason why Summer Newman is getting a divorce.
So, what’s Audra and Nate’s secret? They seem to only be in it for themselves. They also certainly don’t care who they have to bulldoze over in order to reach their goals and ultimately, the top spot. Nate had everything going for him in his relationship with Elena Dawson, but blew that away so he could get his hands on the keys to the kingdom with Victoria Newman. It’s a ruthless world out there and even more so in this fictional town of Genoa City.
