The founder of Newman Enterprises tapped his most trusted confidant, Nikki, to help him run the show.

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) recently let her father down. He believes she has made herself vulnerable by becoming involved with top executive, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), and is reasserting control in various ways in the family business.

Meanwhile, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) thinks that her charm offensive and work production will prevent termination.

Victor told Nikki that he sees Audra as an asset. However, if she does not heed Nikki’s directive, to stop seeing Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Audra will be let go.

Audra relayed Nikki’s order to Kyle who, like his new romantic interest, believes the Newmans can be managed. The hubris Audra and Kyle have been projecting, since they first paired, is one dangerous trait this new couple shares.

Silver and Mealor’s characters have no intentions of stopping their dalliance or whatever they think it is. Instead, Audra and Kyle plan to keep their connection covered, which appears destined to end badly.

Victoria was not pleased to hear that her father made several changes while she was out of town. That meant Heinle’s character thought she was immune from the warning Victor made at a group meeting she was summoned to a few weeks ago.

Victor values profits and on that point, Victoria has delivered. But his need to be in control makes for a pressured workplace that she likely will not tolerate indefinitely.

By providing his children with the best of everything, Victor appears to have not provided the best parenting. His children, except Abby Newman Abbott (Melissa Ordway), take him for granted.

Abby is not considered the smart one of the quartet. But she arguably is that by having left the family business in the past and started Society.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Audra Charles Is Used To Winning

Audra’s definition of winning involves getting what she wants but in short bursts. She does not have lasting human connections, believing that life is a series of transactions.

Her sharp mind and great physical appeal allow for opportunities. She has made the most of them, with McCall Unlimited and now, Newman Enterprises, providing her the ability to work in upper-level positions.

Kyle is her latest useful target. But continuing to cavort with him could cost Audra more than her job. Nikki and Victor could easily block her from obtaining gainful employment in Genoa City, Wisconsin, if she does not stay away from the man Summer still loves, despite her intention to divorce him, on Y&R.
