General Hospital spoilers say that Emme Rylan does want to come back to her soap roots, despite all of the reports that suggested the opposite. In fact, the actress, who was best known for her role as Lulu Falconeri, really does want to come back to Port Charles. It’s just a matter of when and if the producers of the hit ABC soap are willing to give her a call. Here’s what you need to know.

During one of her latest Instagram videos, Emme said that she’s getting tons of messages from General Hospital fans wondering if they will ever get to see Lulu on the canvas again. The short answer is, only if the show’s producers decide to make it happen.

She said, “I don’t want to ruin a storyline, ever, like I am very much into the integrity of storylines whether I’m in them or not. So I’ve been putting it off and putting it off and putting off talking, getting on here and talking because I’m getting so many messages! I don’t know what to say!”

General Hospital Spoilers: Will Lulu Ever Wake Up?

Emme added that there’s a reason behind why she wanted to break her silence on the matter. She said, “I feel like I’ve waited long enough and it’s kind of putting me in a position where I can’t really, like, talk on here very much without feeling weird, so basically, the bottom line, no matter what the Internet says, I have made it clear to General Hospital that I am always available to play Lulu should she ever want to wake up. It is my understanding that when they choose to wake her up, they would be calling me. That could change. Who knows? But that is my understanding. When they want to wake her up, they will call me.”
