The Young and the Restless Spoilers UPDATE Friday, September 8: Kyle’s Parental Lecture, Victor Rescues Sharon, Nick’s Intriguing Offer

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, September 8 tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) enters his family estate, the Abbott house, and gets a barrage of questions from his parents.

No, he’s not a teen, he’s a grown up man, but one that is acting like a child. And, since he lives at home, he gets to follow the ‘my house, my rules’ edict.

Maybe it’s time for adulterous Kyle to get a place of his own?

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Kyle’s Man-child Ways

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) got a snitch from Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) that Kyle could be in trouble.

His parent’s solution? Reunite with his disloyal, lying wife Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier).

They don’t want their respectable son carrying on with a shady lady like Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). But Kyle assures them that his MIL’s ultimatum to drop Audra or lose his job, is his priority.

In fact, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) laid down the law with both Kyle and Audra, but they are laughing behind her back (for now) while continuing their tickle-tag game.

Elsewhere, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) encounter each other at Society.

This week Adam convinced Sharon for the 449th time that he is ready to change and do right by all those who love him. And she believed him.

At the very least she let him pontificate, and put way too much energy into trying to help a man who can’t be helped.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Nick Is Onto Adam

Nick isn’t as naïve as Sharon and won’t buy Adam’s vow to start all over again at the bottom of the company and work his way up. Adam really is shameless isn’t he?

Just in time for the dramarama, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) swoops in and rescues his ex/DIL as she becomes caught in the messy tangle of Newman machismo.

Does he capitulate on her company Kirsten Incorporated? Sharon wants to spread peace and light via the company, but was told that business is about making money, not Barbicore values.

Stay tuned because the great man may do something uncharacteristic by acting in the best interest of someone other than himself this week.

Nick also faces an interesting reality after his boo Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) urged him to act on his instincts to helping Sharon and forget about being his sister Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) co-CEO, a decision made without his input.

His venture New Hope is more aligned with Sharon’s save-the-world mentality, so we could see an interesting business proposition soon. How would Victor that his defection? Not very well!
