General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, September 7 tease moving questions, heart-to-heart talks, and cries for help. Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) asks “moving questions”, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) have a heart-to-heart talk, and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) cries out for help.
At his apartment, Chase asks “moving questions” of Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) who is standing ready to leave with suitcase packed. Chase wants some clarity, telling her he thought she was moving in, not just spending the night. Brook Lynn had told him she couldn’t stand to be around her grandmother, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) anymore, because of how Tracy was using her.
Chase is obviously confused about the situation and has every right to be. What will Brook Lynn tell him?
At the Invader office, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Brooke Anne Smith) clash, and a very frustrated Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) gets between them. She shouts, “kiss and make up” and probably could use a referee’s whistle to call a foul! The sisters are fighting over Molly and TJ Ashford’s (Tajh Bellow) choice to use a surrogate found through an agency instead of Kristina, no doubt. Kristina has managed to hold her anger and disappointment in so far, but it sounds like perhaps she’s exploded.
Josslyn and Trina are at the Metro Court pool when Trina opens up, and Josslyn questions why it doesn’t bother he’s spending all this time with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl)? Trina likely feels secure with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and knows he’s only staying with Esme because they’re co-parenting his baby brother Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay). Trina trusts Spencer although she doesn’t trust Esme as far as she could throw her, and with good reason.
Josslyn likely doesn’t understand how Trina can be so trusting, especially not with the girl who ruined both their lives for close to a year under the same roof as Spencer. Perhaps, soon, that situation will change!
It sounds like word has gotten to Mac Scorpio (John J. York) that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is in Ferncliff. He tells Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) he’s going to see him. But Felicia says, oh no he’s not! Kristina may be looking through the eyes of her new profession of patient advocate and may not think it’s best for Cody to have visitors. Neither seem to know why Cody’s in Ferncliff, that he’s faking insanity to rescue Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) just like Mac did his mother, Dominique Stanton (Shell Kepler) years ago. It sounds like this is going to turn into a bit of an argument between Mac and Felicia, because Mac will be determined.
Cody has gotten into Sasha’s room, after spitting out a sedative pill that appeared to be an antipsychotic medication. Cody’s acting like the Lone Ranger riding to the rescue as he reaches towards Sasha, now awake after being injected with a very large dose of sedative. Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) had told Sasha she doesn’t get to go home until he says she can, and he’s been shooting her up with more and more drugs.
Sasha doesn’t seem to be afraid of Cody as he reaches out his hand towards her. He tells her to take his hand, because he wants to get out of there and she’s going with him if he can convince her!
Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) appears to be trapped, as she uncharacteristically seems scared. She’s with someone else and asks what are they doing there? It could be Montague has caught up to her for his money, after Sasha offering to pay him to let her out. Or it could be Selina Wu (Lydia Look) demanding payment for her gambling debts. On the other hand, Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) cousin Gladys could be his enemies’ first target with him in Federal custody!
Meanwhile, Nina cries for help as Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) opens her door-Nina is quite frantic. Alexis did give her quite the scare when she previously told her she and any of Sonny’s family and associates would be vulnerable if he went to prison. Nina is nearly in tears as she pleads with Carly, “help me, please!”
Might Sonny’s enemies already be targeting his family, friends and associates, or is this about something else? Carly looks a little perplexed at Nina’s manner and what the problem could be!
