Prince Harry was left humiliated at the star-studded LAFC vs Inter Miami soccer game over the weekend. Some people think that David Beckham, who owns Inter Miami, must have had something to do with it, too. Here’s what you need to know.
According to the latest reports, Prince Harry went to the game by himself, as Meghan Markle decided not to attend at the very last minute, despite the fact that her name was on the guest list. But it was that same guest list that might have gotten the Duke and Duchess of Sussex quite upset.
As many royal fans know by now, BMO Stadium was packed with some of the biggest stars in the entertainment industry, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Selena Gomez and Gerard Butler. One guest list that made the rounds on the internet showed the list of attendees along with their occupations. The only two people who didn’t have an occupation listed next to their names were Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Could it be that some people simply don’t know what the Duke and Duchess of Sussex do for a living? Or are they just confused over the couple’s royal status? Either way, some people are pointing their fingers at David Beckham.
As many royal fans and critics already know, there has been a long-running feud between the Beckhams and the Sussexes. Some claim that Meghan Markle was none too pleased when she found out that Victoria Beckham was supposedly leaking stories about her to the British press. Others say that it’s David Beckham who pulled the plug on their friendship because he still wants to be in King Charles’ good graces just so he could get that knighthood. Either way, something is fishy here as the omission on the occupation part sure does tell critics that you don’t slight Harry and Meghan unless you’ve got a good reason for it. Watch this space.
