Meghan Markle To Choke On Her Pride Over ‘Queen Kate?’

It looks like if there’s one thing that Meghan Markle is not looking forward to, it’s seeing her sister-in-law Kate Middleton become the new Queen of England. There’s a new report that suggests the Duchess of Sussex may never accept the Princess of Wales as the queen and apparently there’s a good reason for it, too. In fact, she may even choke over the sheer thought of it. Here’s what you need to know.

Royal author Andrew Morton, who has written books on royal family members like Princess Diana in the past, says hell will freeze over before Meghan Markle ever curtsies to Kate Middleton when she officially becomes the Queen of England in the future. Not only that, but she’ll most likely never step foot in the UK again, just to avoid from ever allowing that to happen. That, and the words ‘Queen Kate’ might never come out of her mouth, either.

Morton put it this way, “What, and have Meghan Markle curtseying to Kate Middleton? I don’t think so.”

And while there have been plenty of reports suggesting Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are looking to make the move back to the UK because they are struggling to keep up with their bills in California, Morton thinks that will never happen. That’s because there’s no way that someone like Meghan would admit to defeat after having said that she would rather be a financially-independent royal than someone who is working full-time with the royal family.

Morton added, “I don’t see that as a runner. They’ve got their own lives in California. They’ve got their own set, they’ve got their own influence, and they’ve got their own companies.”

It goes without saying that Harry and Meghan have not made any comments about their future, but if there’s one thing that we’ve learned so far about them it’s that they would rather be royals in the US than in the UK.
