The Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday, September 5: Red Plays Cupid, Daniel & Heather Make Lily Jelly?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, September 5 tease that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) agrees to be Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) CEO at Newman Media after he shocked her with the offer last week.

Like a stern school marm, Nikki wastes no time telling Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) not to fraternize with her employee Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor)—or else she’ll be looking for a new op to squeeze.

Nikki then appeals to Kyle to return to her granddaughter Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) leading us to wonder, when does all the business get done?

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Victoria Back

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) has to come back from LA sometime, and when she does she discovers Victor Newman’s latest machinations.

Victoria howls about the hierarchy changes he made while she was away, but no matter how much she huffs and puff, the house that Victor built will not fall down.

Elsewhere Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) cannot, will not, is not, changing her stripes. It’s hard to get on the straight and narrow when you’ve been crooked your whole life.

So when she recognizes the possibility of teaming up with someone else to get what she wants, she goes for it.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Phyllis Is Unchanged

Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) is in town, after successfully repping Red in her latest legal trouble. Apparently there is no ethics violation over the fact that Red was her de factor MIL and Red’s son Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) was her partner.

Earlier this year Daniel wanted to reunite, but Heather turned him down. Phyllis wants Daniel to be happy, and has never met a scheme she doesn’t like.

You know where this is going. You also know that Red sees something in it for herself.

Y&R spoilers: Heather In Town

During a convo at the jazz lounge, Phyllis pushes Daniel to admit he still has feelings for the woman he raised his daughter with.

Daniel is back with his GC ex Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) but not so long ago he was begging Heather for another chance, and now she’s here instead of Portugal with the dreamster she left Daniel for.

Heather hears the convo, and we can tell you that Phyllis intends to meddle despite swearing off that addiction.

Daniel eventually sees the web being spun and is not pleased that his mom has already broken her promise to fly straight.
