Days of Our Lives Spoilers: EJ Wants Ava Dead

After having a dream about his later mother Susan, EJ decides to visit Xander and makes a request that he hopes he follows through with: he wants the former henchman to get rid of Ava once and for all. Because of everything that has been going on with Nicole, he hasn’t had any time to properly grieve but of course, he wants to change all of that now.

According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, actor Dan Feurriegel, who plays EJ on the hit Peacock soap, puts it this way, “This dream is his subconscious going, ‘Hey, you have not dealt with this.’ The only way he is going to be able to move on and feel closure, in his own EJ way, is to get vengeance, to take it out on the person who took his mother away from him.”

Days of Our Lives spoilers say that at first, Xander says that he doesn’t want to do it until he realizes that EJ could easily kill Ava himself and then put the blame on him. It’s a two birds, one stone kind of situation.

Dan continues, “EJ’s being crafty. He’s trying to play chess, but not really in a very sophisticated way. He tries to bribe Xander by saying, ‘I know you are just as responsible for what happened, but I’m willing to forgive you if you do this.’ But Xander doesn’t trust him, and I wouldn’t trust him either.”

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: EJ Always Gets What He Wants

The more Xander says he doesn’t want to do it, the more EJ feel hellbent about getting his revenge. After all, it’s part of his nature. Dan adds, “If he doesn’t get his way, he lashes out in an extreme way. That’s who he is.”
