The Young and the Restless Spoilers Friday, September 1: Jack & Ashley Squash Beef, Audra’s Top Secret Task, Billy Riles Adam

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, September 1, tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is the latest person to annoy Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

This week his own brother Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) took a punch at him, so it’s no surprise that Adam is at the bar drinking his blues away.

Billy finds Adam and baits him about his Daddy Warbucks, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), doing him dirty in the business arena. He’s right, but is that any reason to kick a man when he’s down?

Due to Victor’s making Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) in charge at Newman Media, Adam is for the umpteenth time hellbent on revenge. Really?

Fans have been down this road before, so not sure why the writers are revisiting this tired old plot, which usually ends in Adam sacrificing himself for a family member and then all is forgiven.

Remember Adam taking a bullet for Victor, and giving his kidney to Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster)? Sure you do.

Y&R spoilers: Adam’s Revenge

Meanwhile, newly installed boss Nikki tasks ambitious Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) with a job. As Newman Media CEO job Audra will have to answer to her as COO.

Will Nikki take out her dislike on the raven haired minx? Or will she ask her to do something devious, like spy on Adam?

If so this might backfire tremendously because everyone is calling Audra the female version of Adam.
Then again, Nikki also dislikes smarmy Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) so she could sic Audra on him.

Y&R spoilers: Audra Has a Job to Do

Victor wants Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to be his sister Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) co-CEO, which Nate won’t like.

Nikki is a sneaky lady and she could either ask Audra to soothe Nate’s hurt feelings, or go the extra mile and tell her to break up Nate and her daughter!

Elsewhere Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) bury the hatchet, and not in each other.

Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) saved Ashley from choking to death on a plump grape, and this causes Ashley to see her SIL in a new light.

Explosive show spoilers tease that Ashley and Jack kiss and make up, but how will Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) take this news? He is a wild card and could sabotage his new-old wife when she least expects it!
