General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, September 1 tease family changes, family moves, and prison reassurances.

Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) tells Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) of family changes, Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) family moves, and Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) delivers prison reassurances.

General Hospital Spoilers: Family Dinners

There are also family dinners in Port Charles, as Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) catches up with her dad, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) at the Metro Court. Kristina wants her dad to be the first to know about some good news she has, although it’s not anything about being a surrogate.

However, she was able to get Dr. Terry Randolph, (Cassandra James) a transgender, to agree to be on the board of directors for her LGBTQ+ youth halfway house.

Someone with the prestige Terry has in Port Charles will go a long way towards getting her non-profit off the ground. Sonny should be proud of his daughter.

GH Spoilers: Powerful Persuasion

Meanwhile, back at the outside tables in front of Kelly’s, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) uses powerful persuasion to convince Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) to move back in with him.

Brook Lynn, after the dirty trick her grandmother Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) pulled on her regarding Deception Cosmetics couldn’t stand to live with her anymore.

Chase had already figured out that Tracy had blackmailed Brook Lynn into doing something she didn’t want to do. It’s not a problem, whatever Brook Lynn did, he just wants her with him.

At the Haven Bistro, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) tries to help his daughter, Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) through some family changes.

She’s been missing her mother Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) who’s been in a coma for years, and while perhaps Valentin can’t fix that maybe he can something else.

Charlotte’s acting mopey, and Valentin tells her things are changing as they speak.

The home she lived in with her mom and brother has new occupants, but Lulu would have given full approval. Perhaps Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) leaked to Valentin that Wyndemere and Spoon Island are up for sale and Valentin’s pouncing on the opportunity.

GH Spoilers: Family Moves

Maxie is in Lulu’s and Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) old house with Felicia Scorpio, (Kristina Wagner) Georgie Spinelli, (Eden Harker) and James West (Gary James Fuller). Bailey Jones (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt) seems to be missing, but maybe she’s with grandpa Mac Scorpio (John J. York).

She announces this is their new house, and there is certainly more room than in her old apartment.

Maxie was Lulu’s best friend so she wouldn’t have any problems at all-the house is even big enough for her and Charlotte to move back into with Maxie’s family!

General Hospital Spoilers: Prison Reassurances

In the library at Pentonville, Cyrus looks like a preacher preaching to his flock as he reassures a young black woman (unnamed actress/character) everything is as it’s meant to be. Another woman and another male inmate can be seen in the background talking as Cyrus appears to be in charge of the situation. Cyrus does have a Bible study he’s been leading at the prison that he’s invited Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to many times.

Drew has always turned him down, not quite believing in his redemption. But it looks like others are buying Cyrus’ spiel.

GH Spoilers: Family Conversation

At Kelly’s, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and her mother, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) catch up and have a family conversation.

Carly tells Joss thinking she was going to change isn’t going to happen-meaning Joss changing. Joss has been upset about Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) being involved with Sonny’s business more than her, having cancelled several dates.

Even though Carly has explained if Sonny was taken down that crime would be worse in Port Charles, Joss is likely still complaining.
