Days of Our Lives spoilers say that while there are a lot of fans who are excited over the fact that Jen Lilley has decided to return to Salem to reprise her role as Theresa, it seems like there have been a few misunderstandings regarding her role on the show. Here’s what you need to know.
According to Soaps.com, Jen is back, but just for a short time. Apparently, it was former Days of Our Lives Co-Executive Producer and Director Albert Alarr who brought Jen back to the show because he thought it would be a great idea to bring Theresa back just in time for Victor Kiriakis’ funeral.
But for some reason, Albert changed his mind. Even Jen herself still doesn’t understand what happened, as she recalled asking Albert, “Listen, you told me Theresa’s going to do X, Y and Z. I only have one more [script] for Monday, and I have two weeks left,” to which he replied with, “Theresa is still going to do all of that… We’re going to do it with a different Theresa.”
So, it looks like Jen is going to come back, but just for a short while. She is then going to be replaced by a new actor on the show.
Earlier this summer, Jen also managed to make some waves over her controversial casting. When one of Jen’s social media followers wrote, “Don’t do it Jen. It is not a worthy platform for you as a mom, Christian. Days is the worst of all soaps with their storylines,” Jen swiftly responded with, “I wasn’t going to do it and the Holy Spirit told me to do it. The details behind His reasons when I asked the same exact question you just asked still make me sob in awe of His love and mercy when I think about it.”
