The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that there’s a huge difference between a loving mother and a controlling mother. But it seems like Brooke Logan just doesn’t understand what it is, nor does she even care to understand it as she seems to be making one threat after another towards her daughter, Hope Logan. That, and it seems like she’s treating Hope – a grown woman – like a little girl who can’t think for herself. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
In the latest promo for The Bold and the Beautiful, Brooke can be heard telling her daughter, “Don’t you dare go back to Thomas.” While Hope didn’t respond to what her mother just said, the look on Brooke’s face said everything that she had to say. It was as if Brooke was telling Hope to listen to her or there will be hell to pay. And coming from a person like Brooke Logan, we certainly believe it.
It goes without saying that many The Bold and the Beautiful fans have had a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some even commented with, “A normal mother would’ve said ‘I hope you’re not thinking about going back to Thomas,’ Brooke says ‘don’t you dare…’ How is this a normal relationship between a grown-up and her parent? She is abusive,” along with, “What kind of a Mom says that? Hope is a grown woman. And I don’t understand how Ridge loves this woman who hates his son ugh. So is Brooke saying she won’t be there and support her if she goes back to Thomas? Is she going to disown her? Kick her out of the shed? What?”
Another The Bold and the Beautiful fan wrote, “Hope has a mind of her own. If, in the end, being with Thomas is a mistake, it’s hers to make! Brooke may be her mother but, she can’t tell her what to do!”
