The Young and the Restless comings and goings say that a familiar face is coming back to Genoa City. There are new reports that say Michael Damian will be returning to the hit CBS soap to reprise his role as Danny. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Danny Is Coming Back – Christine’s Divorce To Paul Finally Official?

Now that Danny is coming back, a lot of fans can’t help but wonder if this means he might continue where he left off with Christine. Technically, Christine is still married to Paul William as they never finalized their divorce. But if Christine kick starts a new romance with Danny, the producers might have to bring back Doug Davidson for an episode or two just to finalize things between Paul and Christine. Otherwise, she’s going to have a very hard time moving forward, regardless of who she ends up being with. 

Now, as far as how long Michael will be in Genoa City remains to be seen but Soap Opera Digest says that he will make his debut again on September 28th for a multi-episode arc. The actor even said back in March that he’s always willing to come back to The Young and the Restless, as long as his schedule allows him to make it happen. He said back then, “As long as I’m not out of the country working on another movie, I can make Y&R happen.”

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: What’s Next For Danny In Genoa City?

Of course, many Y&R fans have had a lot to say about the matter. Some even commented with, “Good. The Newmans and the Abbots only talk about work. Please give those characters a storyline outside of the office,” along with, “Oh my goodness I’m so excited for this to happen!!! He’s so adorable. Romance with Cricket.”

So far Micahel himself has not made any additional comments about the matter.
