It seems like each and every time Thomas tries to get close to Hope – and even professes his love while he’s at it – she seems to pull away. And of course, it doesn’t make sense to anyone as Thomas Forresters is the one man in this fictional town of Los Angels that truly does love Hope. Yet she doesn’t seem to realize it at all.
Of course, many B&B fans have had a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some have said, “I think Hope is just terrified because she has people like her mother Brooke and her ex Liam telling her what to think and say at all times. The poor woman can’t think for herself without someone striking the fear of God in her. That’s why she keeps rejecting Thomas. It’s really not her fault as she’s surrounded by a bunch of deranged mental abusers.”
Another fan wrote, “I want to feel sorry for Hope but I don’t. She’s a grown woman who should be able to make her own decisions. But she feels guilted in breaking up with Thomas because everyone around her tells her that she can’t be with him. But the heart wants what it wants. I just wish that people like Brooke would just let Hope live her life already. She’s not a little girl anymore.”
