In a promo for this week’s The Young and the Restless episodes, Adam Newman can be seen telling his father Victor Newman that he definitely deserves a head seat at the table. And who wouldn’t agree with that, right? He tells his father straight up that he wants to be CEO of Newman Enterprises, while Nick argues that his brother has done nothing but bring pain into all of their lives. Adam then says, I am smug and I am arrogant and that’s how you get things in life. Nice guys finish last, right dad.”

And right at that moment Nick gets up and sucker punches his brother in the face. Wowza!

It goes without saying that many The Young and the Restless fans have had a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some have even commented with, “Nick does it, its gonna be understood but if Adam had done this, he would be called unhinged,” along with, “Team Adam without any hesitation! Too bad there is no ally: Tucker for example. I wish he had started a romance with Elena or Audra. I hope he gets his revenge once and for all. Nick is hateful!”
