Ashley and Tucker were surprised that Jack decided to give Ashley her part of Jabot at their wedding. Ashley has turned to her brother Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to get him to spy on Jack.

Ashley does not know that Billy has been working with Jack to keep a watch on her and Tucker. Ashley may decide that she needs to get past her need to take over Jabot.

Ashley may start to believe that Diane has Jack’s best interest at heart. Ashley knows that Diane decided to sign a postnuptial agreement.

Ashley may believe that she can work to bridge the gap between her and Jack because she has started to trust Diane.
