The Young and the Restless spoilers say that we definitely didn’t see this coming. That’s because Diane Jenkins is going to do the unimaginable and actually save Ashley Abbott’s life. While having lunch with Abby at Society, Ashley shares that she and Tucker are moving out of the Abbott mansion, and of course, Abby panics. She knows that the feud with Jack has reignited. The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Ashley tries to tell Abby that everything is okay between her and Jack, but she doesn’t seem too convinced herself. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, The Young and the Restless Executive Producer and Head Writer Josh Griffith previews, “Ashley will never admit defeat with Diane. The decades of animosity between them is too much for Ashley to ignore for the sake of family harmony.”
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that when Diane shows up and offers to do anything to stop the war between them, that’s when Ashley lets it all out. Griffith previews, “Ashley explodes and informs Diane that despite marrying Jack, she will never be a true member of the Abbott family and her feelings for Diane will never change.”
That’s when Abby leaves and Ashely starts eating a piece of fruit and starts choking. Diane rushes to her side and saves her life. Griffith hints, “Diane saving Ashley is a life changing experience for both women. One of them will make a decision that will forever change the dynamics of their relationship.”
In other words, things might start improving between these two ladies. Actually, who are we kidding? No one in Genoa City goes from enemies to being friends. Even for Ashley, that’s not something hard to swallow. There’s no way that Ashley is going to let someone like Diane get too close to her.
