Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in their latest issue, actor Brandon Bemeer, who plays Shawn on the hit soap, says that his character knows that it’s going to be an uphill battle for him. He says, “Shawn is tired of pretending in front of Marlena that he’s better because he’s not better. He’s still going through all the stuff that he’s going through. He’s just grieving so badly.”

Days of Our Lives spoilers say that Shawn is also dealing with the guilt of knowing that if he hadn’t pulled the trigger on Bo, Victor wouldn’t have been on that plane flying to see Bo if Shawn hadn’t done what he did at that very moment. In other words, everything would have looked quite different. 

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: What’s Next For Shawn?

Brandon continues, “It adds to his spiral even more. Victor wouldn’t have been on that plane flying to see Bo if Shawn hadn’t done what he did in that moment.”

Days of Our Lives spoilers further tease that Shawn takes out his secret weapon and ponders what he should do next. Brandon says, “It’s crossing Shawn’s mind that this is too much for him to handle. This could be an easy escape, an easy exit from the guilt that he’s feeling. He’s also dealing with the fact that he’s disappointed so many people because of his drinking. He doesn’t have things under control.”
